1.1) Venruki said, on his recent Reckful.com interview, http://reckful.com/Post-MLG-Interview-CompLexity-Mage-Venruki, that "Beastcleave in my opinion was all about improved gouge as it opens up opportunities for the mage to CC and the priest to penance - a small thing but makes a huge difference." Do you agree with this?

I'm not sure i fully agree with this.

1.2) What do you think could have made you more effective against BB?
Maybe being a little more open minded on targets, it's easy to look back and say we could have done this this and this. We prepared alot for the event and when it becomes showtime, sometimes you forget things you have learned.

2.1) You beat this Shadow Cleave in the round-robin 2 times in Dalaran Arena, but SK-EU's Shadow Cleave seemed to have the upper hand in Dalaran and Blade's Edge in the finals.
To what do you attribute the change from round-robin to the finals?

The games where really close in round-robin, its probably shadowcleaves game to win. So i guess they just played better.

3.1) Do you think the changes to Beast Cleave were sufficient to balance the comps, in light of new RMP strats, and emerging comps such as shadow cleave, wizard cleave, etc.?

I believe so, when you look at top tier comps i think beastcleave is in there but i dont think its in a league of its own.

3.2) Do you think Beast Cleave is represented proportionately in live and in MLG, given their strengths and weaknesses? If not, why do you think that is? Do you think that a major reason is adaptation time? For example, some say that no MLG team should complain about comp imbalances, as any team can practice any classes/comps in the MLG rounds. However, teams that haven't played Beast Cleave before, or even those classes, have a big disadvantage in competing with Beast Cleave. What would you say to people that say other MLG teams can compete with 'any comps they want in MLG'?

Well they can run any comp they want, peoples big complain about beastcleave is that it is to easy to run. If that is the case then the MLG teams should just run it.

4) What did you make of the comp CompLexity chose to play against your Beast Cleave? What do you think of Vrdy's explanation in his recent interview, http://reckful.com/Post-MLG-WoW-Anaheim-2009-Interview-Vrdy?
Do you think there is something better they could have done with this comp?

Well we took advantage of Venruki's lack of practice on an enhance shaman. They played well and what not, if they think it can work vs us then maybe we will see them run it at LAN again.

5) Do you think that some series should run longer than best of 5 as this isn't enough to learn to deal with and find a good adaptation for a comp/strat that you haven't encountered much in your BG or in the MLG realm?

I think best of 5 puts it at a fair point, if we play 7 games it would be VERY long days and going 0-7 vs teams can start to feel embarassing for some.

5.1) Reckful tells me there was some discussion of MLG doubling-up on the computers they have, cutting keyboard/mouse switching time, so that there might be enough time to simply play 2 times as many games anyhow. Did you hear about this? Do you think it would be a good idea for each team to have a change to rematch, say, 2 series or their choice? Or how would you structure longer series or a more game-filled tourney?

I like the MLG event the way it is now, events use to be just double elim lose 2 series and your out. So the round-robbin thing is really nice, i really wouldnt change a thing about it.
